Booz Allen’s Social Impact Program for TechLiteracy Educates Students in AI and Technology Skills with Nonprofit Partners

Booz Allen TechXplore Initiative

Empowering 1 million students with advanced tech skills

Tomorrow’s advanced technology solutions will be built by today’s youth. They are America’s future innovators, builders, and creators. As a private sector leader using advanced technology to accelerate outcomes for the nation’s most critical missions, Booz Allen understands that fostering a future-ready technical workforce means investing now in our young people.

Empowering Tomorrow’s Innovators Today

That’s why we’ve launched our TechXplore initiative—to empower 1 million students with AI, cybersecurity, and advanced technology skills. In collaboration with our partner organizations, we are working to prepare them for future careers that will fuel the nation’s success.

The Importance of Advanced Technology Education

A tech-literate workforce is critical to U.S. national security and economic prosperity. However, not all students have the same access to technology and digital skills. Many lack digital awareness and literacy, as well, leaving them with limited economic opportunities and unprepared for potential challenges that come with emerging technologies. This puts our youth, our communities, and ultimately our nation at risk. But when technology is responsibly applied and balanced with well-being, we believe it enables people to change the world.

Our Approach

In partnership with the Booz Allen Foundation, we support nonprofits on the ground through resources and volunteerism that align with digital literacy, career readiness, and well-being and engagement.

  1. Digital Literacy: Increasing exposure to AI, cybersecurity, and other advanced technologies; educating on tech security and ethics; and cultivating tech talent from all backgrounds
  2. Career Readiness: Acquiring basic and advanced tech skills, using future tech education to solve problems, and inspiring public service technical careers
  3. Well-being and Engagement: Fostering wellness through the human side of technology, supporting resilient communities, and promoting healthy relationships with advanced tech
