Booz Allen’s Partnership with Hiring Our Heroes

According to Hiring Our Heroes, the following people are eligible for a fellowship:

• A service member on active duty or transition leave; must be within 180 days of transition from military service at the time of the 12-week program
  
• A current or previous military spouse who is unemployed or underemployed
• A caregiver for wounded, ill, or injured veterans including spouses, parents, family members, and friends

• Corporate fellowship (for transitioning service members)
• Military spouse/caregiver fellowship

We offer fellowships three times per calendar year: in January, May, and September. Each program lasts 12 weeks (about three months).

While the Hiring Our Heroes fellowship program operates out of 17 locations across the United States, we are able to place fellows anywhere in the country, either virtually or in person. As a fellow, you can participate remotely, hybrid, or onsite.

To be considered, you must apply directly with Hiring Our Heroes to join an upcoming fellowship cohort.

We typically host about 50 fellows per cohort. Booz Allen host teams invite fellows based on their skillsets and desired post-fellowship geographic locations or work models (remote, hybrid, or onsite).

Host teams, skillsets, and locations vary in each fellowship cohort, and applying to the fellowship does not guarantee selection to a fellowship program.

Since 2018, 74% of our fellows have chosen Booz Allen as the place to launch their civilian careers after the program. In the past year, 90% of fellows received full-time offers and 79% have accepted full-time employment with us.
