The Situation
When a significant breach disrupted business operations for a Global 2000 with a newly-appointed CISO, Booz Allen got the call. The incident exposed several underlying security faults, many of those stemming from recent acquisitions of companies that were not securely integrated into the parent business.
The Approach
Booz Allen started by analyzing the root cause of the incident. After tracking and organizing all their security activities, we were able to present a clear picture of the company’s strengths and weaknesses. This allowed us to prioritize the steps the organization needed to take to fully recover from the attack.
