Sharon Claridge is Booz Allen’s chief security officer. In this role, she leads experts in all disciplines of security, threat management, and crisis response who protect the firm's employees, offices, and operations across the globe.
Prior to her current role, Sharon led the design and implementation of the firm’s insider risk management, counterintelligence, and continuous evaluation programs. These vital programs help ensure the firm delivers a trusted workforce to our clients while prioritizing assistance and support to our employees’ wellbeing. Booz Allen’s trusted workforce capability is recognized as a gold standard across industry and government.
Before joining Booz Allen, Sharon held numerous security and leadership roles in top aerospace and defense companies, including Lockheed Martin Skunkworks and General Dynamics. She provided security solutions and expertise to augment operations onsite within the Department of Defense and intelligence community, including the National Reconnaissance Office, Air Force, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Sharon is involved in our Global Disabilities business resource group. Outside of work, she helped found the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) to drive a cure for the rare and debilitating neurological disorder that affects over 500,000 people worldwide.
Sharon has a J.D. from Concord University of Law, an M.A. in human resources management from California State University, Northridge, and a B.A. in multidisciplinary studies from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is also a member of the State Bar of California and a certified information systems security professional.
