Andre Nguyen is an adversarial machine learning (ML) expert in Booz Allen’s chief technology office.
As chief scientist, Andre leads Booz Allen’s artificial intelligence (AI) red team. He helps commercial and global government clients assess their machine learning security posture and identify and mitigate exploitable vulnerabilities in their machine learning models, systems, and pipelines. Additionally, as Booz Allen’s AI Security technical lead, Andre focuses on capitalizing machine learning research and development into scalable revenue streams.
Andre returned to Booz Allen after serving as director of machine learning at the biotech firm JURA Bio. Earlier in his career, he was an ML researcher at Booz Allen focused on adversarial defense, cybersecurity, and synthetic data research.
He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a B.A. in applied mathematics from Harvard University.
