Brad Wardman is a cybersecurity leader for Booz Allen, where he heads up cyber threat intelligence (CTI) for the firm’s commercial business. Using preemptive research, he proactively assesses the current threat environment to build and assess CTI programs that provide clients with relevant vulnerabilities, targeted controls, and indicators of compromise for specific sectors and supply chains.
Brad and his team specialize in detecting, tracking, and fighting cybercrime and financial crime by employing data-driven approaches. Together, they detect and mitigate sophisticated adversarial techniques and implement policies and procedures to keep client organizations operating safely and efficiently.
Before joining Booz Allen, Brad worked for PayPal, where he held diverse responsibilities, including threat management, threat intelligence, and insider fraud.
Brad is active in industry groups and serves on the Anti-Phishing Working Group board of directors. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in computer and information systems from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a B.S. in computer science from Birmingham-Southern College.
