Booz Allen engineers and scientists are helping the Department of Defense develop and operationalize directed energy weapons—which can include a host of technologies, such as high-energy lasers, high-power microwaves, and other related radiofrequency technologies. These technologies offer the potential to provide cost-effective precision force, cutting-edge point defenses, as well as non-lethal applications such as crowd control or disabling machinery.
